Daily Operation >> Schedule New Appointments >> Walk-ins (Shot Clinics)

There are a few different ways to walk-in visits that make sense depending on where you are in the system.

From the home page

Before using this method, check your clinic setup in the following areas:

  • Go to Setup >> Locations and make sure you have allowed walk-in visits for the desired days of the week and locations.

  • Make sure you have at least one walk-in Appointment Profile created.

Once your setup is verified (and you're creating a walk-in for a day of the week your clinic allows it per your setup above), continue here:

  1. Click New Appointment >> Walk-in

  2. Search or create the owner (or select volume client)

  3. If your clinic has multiple locations

  4. Add new or returning patients as needed.

  5. Add services, print paperwork, and check out as usual.

From patient home page...

This is handy whe combined with a search. Search for a patient by number or animal name + owner last name, go to the patient home page, then continue below:

  1. Under the New Visit/Appointment Today area, select the location and visit type Walk-in.

  2. Click Create Appt.

  3. Continue with step 5 above.

From the client home page...

This is handy when combined a search. Search for a client name or phone number, then continue below:

  1. Under the New Visit/Appointment Today area, select the patient (the 12 most recent are available to select).

  2. Select the location and visit type Walk-in.

  3. Click Create Appt.

  4. Continue with step 5 above.
